HOME IMPROVMENT - INSTALATION OF CELEING FAN IN PC ROOM

this summer was...BRUTAL...worst one in a long time from Oklahoma history...it was miserably hot. more days in the 3 digits than not. thats pretty hot.

and then to be in a room that generates heat (because of the PCs in the room) made it even MORE miserable..

i couldnt deal with it, and i begged for a fan to be installed.

so, we went out to Home Depot and found a fan for less than 50.00
brought it home
craig installed it.

 testing the fan, runs fine!

im one happy woman...such a relief to have circulatng air in this room.

2nd ANNUAL 'ARTS GONE WILD' ARTWORK

i had almost forgotten about this event. we had been last year, and this year almost slipped by me without notice, until craig had sent me an email reminding me of the event.

im fortunate that this event has happened to fall on the same week as my wedding anniversary. last year i got a painting done by a gorilla. this year i was gonna see what was available by a chimpanzee..

so we head out to the PASEO ART DISTRICT (oklahoma city) too view the work...

this area of town has to be one of my favorites...because its all about art and creativity, its not very big...but for as small as it is, to me, its a magical place to be...i REALLY enjoy being there...

there was ALLOT of art by the animals at the Oklahoma City Zoo this year...

THIS painting appealed to me very much. being black and white with red...865.00$ didnt though. lol

craig and i thought this looked like Asian artwork...

i thought this one was cute, Oklahoma City Zoo had just welcomed a baby elephant and maylees mother painted this one, of course the colors and name were picked by her handlers, but its a homage to the newest family member at the Zoo...

i REALLY REALLY liked this one, matches the frame done by my Gorilla, from the year before, but the price range, even on lay-a-way...was a bit out of our range, i promised if it didnt seel (for the second year) id get it by the third year...sure hope it doesnt sell...lol

WOLF painting! i really like wolves as well, not as much as primates though. lol but i think wolves are majestic, and strong. i was thrilled to see they had one by a wolf...:)

made sure i got the card for this painting THIS year, at this time i was STILL waiting gor the card for my GORILLA painting, 1 year later.

 

i am one blessed woman! to have a husband that allows me my dreams...cant wait for next year and that oen GORILLA painting...if im lucky maybe i can squeeze in an orangutan painting as well...well just have too see..
